Faster. Less exposure. Enviromentally friendly.
Digital x-rays have revolutionized the dental field by drastically reducing the time it takes to take radiographic images. Our practice switched to digital x-rays in 2000, and most recently a digital x-ray system by DEXIS in 2008. We have been pleased to provide diagnostic imaging to our patients in a way that minimizes appointment time, drastically reduces exposure to radiation, and has completely eliminated the use of environmentally harmful chemicals in typical film processing. Digital x-rays are instantly available, providing an invaluable tool for diagnosis of your dental health.
- reduced radiation exposure
- shorter time to take images

How often do I need x-rays?
X-rays are an invaluable tool to diagnose your dental health by allowing a view of your teeth below the gumline and in areas not easily visible through an oral examination. We recommend x-rays to be taken every two years to evaluate any changes that may have occurred.
Can I bring films from my other dentist?
Yes, please bring them with you or have your dentist email your films to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We also accept films through the mail, but email is preferred if possible.
